personal view about assignment

Assignment on making a game is very complicated task but very interesting and very useful. It makes us gather many ideas about the different technologies. Through this assignment we will be able to plan and think about creating and designing. Game we created was also very interesting “Share market game”. By the end of the assignment I was able to know many different things. This assignment was made as group assignment which was very good idea, we are able to share the view and idea we knew. It also helps for the dummies.
After all I got lots of knowledge, Assignment idea is very good and I hope every one liked that assignment. It was complicated but interesting.

Our second assignment is to design a game. It was the group assignment. I was totally unknown with this assignment I had no idea what to do and how to do. I asked my teacher for the group and I got to participate a group with some classmate according to my teacher direction. After joining a group I came to know that our group is going to make a game called “share market game”. I didn’t have any idea what type of game was that. One of my member in our group explained me what we have to do and gave me some links http://www.asx.com.au/investor/education/games/index.htm where we can get the information. My first task was to go through that link.

I went through that link and came to know how this game works. It was exactly like a real world share market. The basic logic on this game was that every player will get a sum of virtual money and they have to invest this money buying and selling shares 1in different companies. And a player who would be able to gather maximum sum of money will be the winner. This game is played on mobile basis every transaction is done through mobile phone.

I gather some information through that link and I search some key information like how this game work and what are the terms and conditions. But my group was focusing on the technologies. So I was told to find some technologies. I had no idea what technology to use so I went through the posting from my other group members and tried to find some information regarding that.


I tried to find about WAP and search on google. I went through this site www.webopedia.com/ then I came to know that WAP is a protocol used for the handheld devise and I came to know about is properties and why it is good for our game.

I tried to find some information about the apache server. I went through wikipedia first to get the rough idea about it then I went for google search and gather much information I went through few links like www.apachecorp.com, httpd.apache.org,
I came to know lot about this server through those links but didn’t find any appropriate information for our game.

I thought to find some security mechanism for the game. So I went through thorough research about the security mechanism in google. I got the idea to use cryptography for our game. I search in different web sites and gather some information about it.
I also came through the security awareness for the player.

I keep on reading the posting by my group members and try searching regarding that.
